WASHINGTON, DC CHINATOWN PARADE – APPLICATION FORM FOR PARTICIPATION
Route Start: 6th & Eye St NW | Route End: 6th & H St NW

The Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association (CCBA) is the host and sponsor of the Annual Chinese Lunar New Year Parade in Washington, DC. This parade is usually held during the months of January or February, according to the Lunar New Year calendar.

The parade usually occurs on a Sunday with a start time of 2pm. We suggest guests and participants come to Chinatown early to have lunch at one of the many restaurants before the parade.

The parade is about seven (7) blocks long starting from 6th & I Street winding around Chinatown and proceeding under the arch towards the final stage at 6th & H Street. The duration of the parade is about 50 minutes from start to finish. All participations are by invitations only.

Our dynamic community-based parade will include traditional lion and dragon dances, Kung Fu demonstrations, firecrackers, live music and marching bands, beauty pageant winners, VIPs, and other community talents! Participation is by invitation and must be approved by CCBA.

If you would like to participate in this year’s parade, please fill out the form below.
